Can a business/company representative join GLMA?
Yes, a business or company representative can join GLMA using the application found on this website.
What is the membership year?
The GLMA membership year runs from January 1 to December 31. We
send out renewal reminders at the end of each year. If you still haven’t
renewed by June, we will send out another reminder.
My school pays for my membership. Can I renew each August?
Yes, although it may be more difficult to remember if you have renewed
or not if you don’t renew when the renewals are sent out at the beginning
of the year.
How do I know if I have renewed my membership for the year?
Once your renewal or initial membership application is processed,
you should receive a postcard in the mail that doubles as your membership
card stating you have paid your dues for that year. If you have misplaced
this card or did not receive one after renewing/joining, you can call
the Executive Office at 404.299.7700 and find out if your membership
is current.
I want to attend COMO as a GLMA member but I haven’t renewed or joined
GLMA yet. What can I do?
You can attend COMO as a GLMA member by sending in your membership
application and dues to the GLMA office before COMO or by renewing/joining
at COMO. Those dues will count towards the current year, though, and
you will get a renewal notice in late December for the upcoming year.
How do I join the GAMEDIA listserv? Am I automatically added when
I join?
No, you are not automatically added when you join. To join the GAMEDIA
