The Georgia Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl

The Georgia Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl 2006 competition is underway.
The north regional bowl will be held at Carrollton High School
on March11, 2006 while the south regional bowl will be held at
Valdosta state University on the same day. Both bowls will be
held from 10:00AM-12:00PM.
There are more than 47 teams from more than 30 school systems
registered for the regional bowls. Each school system that participates
in the Georgia Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl may send two teams at
each level.
The winning teams at each regional bowl will then
face each other at the state finals in Athens, Georgia during
the Georgia Children’s Literature Conference on April 22, 2006.
