The National AASL Conference is happening in Reno in October 2007. The dates are October 25, 26, and 27. In order to recognize the changing role of the school library media programs now and in the future, the AASL is developing new learning standards for school library media programs. There is an interactive wiki about the new standards where members can make live changes and suggestions to the draft document. The wiki address is:
