Announcing the opening of registration for the 2007 GLMA Summer Institute!
What is it?
An opportunity for Georgia's school librarian teachers to come
together to learn, to network, to work on the work
and just have fun! Our theme this year is "Making Our Future!"
When is it?
June 6 and 7, 2007.
The opening ceremony is scheduled for 10:00 AM on Wednesday
and the closing ceremony will finish at 2:00 on Thursday. There
will be an HRRB state steering committee meeting on June 5 from
2-4PM. There will be special work sessions scheduled for June
6 from 8-10 AM. There will be a GLMA Board of Directors Meeting
on Thursday from 2:30-4:30 PM.
Where is it?
Macon State College ETTC and Continuing Education Building
How much does it cost?
Registration will be $60 and will cover the cost of the facilities,
cost of materials, lunch on both days, morning and evening snacks
on both days.
Where will we stay?
GLMA has reserved rooms at two hotels directly across from
the college. You will make your reservations directly with the
hotels. If you can get a tax exempt form from your school
you may use it.
Holiday Inn West in Macon - price $60 a night for a room with
2 queen size beds, free Internet, hot complimentary breakfast
in restaurant, and free parking. You must register by May 22
for this price and must tell them that you are with Georgia Library

with 2 queen size beds, refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker,
