GLMA Winter Retreat

New Perry Hotel, Perry, Georgia
The GLMA Winter Retreat at the New Perry Hotel in Perry, Georgia,
was a huge success. Officers were installed Friday evening: Rosalind
Dennis, President; Sherry Grove, President-elect; Kathleen Disney,
and Secretary; Rebecca Amerson, Treasurer. Saturday and Sunday
sessions included workshops for District Chairs, and Committee
Coordinators, an update on our state and national initiatives,
a website update and a detailed advocacy session.
The historic New Perry Hotel was lovely and our meals were
delicious. The weekend was incredibly productive as well as a
wonderful opportunity for the Executive Board members to become
better acquainted with each other.
