Capstone Press Sponsors Geography Contest
Publisher Asks Students, "Where in the World is FactHound?"

Capstone Press is sponsoring a geography contest this school year that takes students on a fictional trip around the world to find FactHound, the mascot of the publisher’s Web portal. As FactHound travels to famous sights and landmarks, the dog leaves behind a postcard and three clues as to his whereabouts.

A new postcard of FactHount at a mystery location will be posted at http://www.capstonepress.com at the beginning of each month, starting September 1, 2004 through March 1, 2005. Educators can help students in grades K-8 register for the contest on the Web site and guide their research using the photograph and clues provided. Students who correctly guess FactHound’s location are automatically entered into a drawing to win for their school the new 28-book countries set Questions and Answers: Countries valued at more than $630.

For a free contest kit, educators should contact customer service toll free at 800-747-4992 or via email at customer.service@capstone-press.com.
