Latest Legislative Update
The GLMA Lobbyists were at the Georgia Capitol until late in
the evening on Thursday March 30. The budget was passed. School
Library Media Programs will receive an increase in funding of
over $5 million. The report I have had is that this will
increase the amount from $9.77 to $13.03 per FTE. GLMA
will send more specifics at a later time. Please send the
following conferees a Thank You and also contact your local representatives
and senators with a Thank You.
